Rawle Crichlow has been involved in Track & Field, sprinting, running and various other sports for over 25 years. He was born in the beautiful tropical island of Barbados, West Indies, better known as the Caribbean’s and moved to Setauket, Long Island, NY in 1974 as a youngster.
Rawle started participation in Track & Field in 1979 and has been competing since then. He has competed at the high school, local, club, collegiate and post collegiate levels. As a student athlete for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, he was consistently one of the top scorers for the team all four years he competed, as well as, one of the top sprinters in New England and the East Coast in individual and relay events ranging from 55 meters to 400 meters. He was a four-year letterman in indoor and outdoor track and at one time held three school records. He still holds the indoor 300 meters record of 34.8 and is number three all time in the 55 meters dash at 6.2 (6.44) seconds. While at the University of Massachusetts Amherst www.massachusetts.edu and/or www.umass.edu he earned team MVP honors, as well as All New England and All Eastern Honors numerous times.
Rawle competes nationally and internationally as a Masters Athlete in the 45–49 age group, where he is recognized as one of the top sprinters in the world. He plans to run and compete for the rest of his life. He won the USATF National Masters Indoor 60 meters Championship in Boston, MA in March 2004 in a very fast time of 7.11. He won the prestigious PENN Relays 100meters and anchored the winning 4 x 100meters relay win in April 2005 and once again anchored the winning 2006 PENN Relay 4 x 100 team. He also holds the Arizona age group records in the 55m, 60m, 100m and 200m and was consistently rank among the top sprinters in the national and world master’s rankings. Rawle has a BS degree in Sports Management http://www.isenberg.umass.edu/sportmgt/ and is well versed in all aspects of the Sprint Speed, Middle & Long Distance and Events and Athletic Management. Rawle is a USATF Level 1 coach, sprint coach for Hamilton HS in Chandler, as well as USATF and Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) Certified Official. He has a Coaches Certificate from the International Registry of Coaches and is also the assistant cross country and track & field coach at Hamilton High School www.hamiltonhuskies.com in Chandler, Arizona.
Rawle founded and began coaching Feel The Heat Track Club in 1999 and has coached individual athletes one on one in various events from the sprints to the ultra marathon since 1991. Rawle uses his organizational skills in his coaching programs and stresses Speed, Preparation, Intensity, Consistency, Discipline, Work Ethics, Positive Mental Attitude, Toughness, Proper Form and Technique, Injury Prevention, Nutrition, Neuromuscular Massage and Rest to his athletes. He also stresses an Open Respectful Communication between his athletes, parents, family members, fans, and himself.

Rawle now resides in Tempe, Arizona after moving from Boston, Massachusetts in 1997, via Amherst, MA, Setauket, Long Island, NY and Barbados in the Caribbean’s.
