Meet Our Lets Get Fit America! Directors

January, 2009

We will be selecting 50 key people to serve as our Lets Get Fit America! directors.  Each person must be interested in helping us spread our message which is very simple - "Lets Get Fit America".  We have already selected several key players who want to help.  If you would like to be a director, send an email to chief director Bob Anderson at bob@ujena.com  and tell us how you can help us.

Take a look at our Lets Get Fit America! directors.  As you can see, our directors have already done a lot in the fitnest world and make sure they make time available to stay fit themselves.  We are looking for directors of difference ages, talents, abilities and sports.

We will also be adding leaders to our Lets Get Fit America! team too.  Our overall goal is to have some impact in getting more people fit or keeping people fit.  We want to do more than just talk about it.  We want to help motivate people, share information and bring awareness.  Become a member today.  It is totally free.

Lets Get Fit America! is a not-for-profit Volunteer Organization.  Join us and lets show everyone how important we think it is to get and stay fit.

During the course of her 30 year athletic career, Francie established 36 United States records and 12 world bests in distances ranging from 1000 meters to 10,000 meters. She was selected by Runner's World magazine as, "The Most Versatile Runner of the Quarter Century." Francie is a member of the Road Runners Club of America Hall of Fame, The Texas Women's Hall of Fame, and the National Track and Field Hall of Fame....more from Francie, "Very fit my entire life until I started coaching at Southwestern University in 1999. Wanted to make sure my team knew it was all about them! Also could not figure out/too lazy to "fit being fit into my lifestyle." Running degenerated into interval trotting with one or more of our 7 rescued dogs. Woke up one day weighing 25 lbs more than heaviest I raced and busting out of my "fat" clothes. Not to mention how uncomfortable I was in this body I didn't know. Big wakeup call! Running specialty store (Run-Tex) opened a store in Georgetown, TX (small town where I live) winter of 07/08. Started going to running group at 5:45 AM led by store manger Donnie O'Neal. Routinely brought up the rear of the pack and soon became motivated to run on the days between running group sometimes as early as 4:30 AM before work because if I don't train in the AM it doesn't get done. Lost 20 pounds...feel great! Ran 19:51 5K in Nov"

DIRECTOR JODI LABOSSIERE

Loves to run! She started running in grade school after she ran a mile in gym class in under 6 minutes. However, other sports took over heading into junior and senior high. Her love for running was sparked again when she attended her first Ujena Jam as a swimwear model.  She has done a lot of swimwear modeling and has been a Ujena staff model.  Since her first Jam Jodi has made running an important part of her life. She has run 5km, 10km, half, and full marathons including the L.A. marathon (her favorite). When Jodi isn't running she is busy working in the beauty industry as a model, and sales and marketing director. Her down time (yeah right) is spent between Newport Beach, and Houston where she spends quality time with her beau Dave. Go figure that one of their favorite things to do together is run...
